MINDFULNESS MONDAYS
MINDFUL MEDITATION
Close your eyes, take deep breaths, in through your nose on a count of 3, and out through your mouth on a count of 3. Imagine yourself in your most relaxing place, like the beach, the mountains, the forest, the field, or anywhere you would feel relaxed. Allow your 5 senses to take you to this place through your imagination. This is your special place that you can go if you ever need to relax and take care of yourself.

SELF-CARE PLAN
Create a self care plan to take care of yourself, including your mind, body, and spirit, and list of people who are support of you and list your positive qualities.
MUSIC TO SOOTHE THE SOUL
Take a break and listen to music, to help relax or rejuvenate. Make a playlist of inspirational songs, relaxing songs, or energetic songs to take care of yourself! Write a song or rap, sing, play a song on an instrument, or dance! Check out "Better Days" by Judith Hill. She came to Narbonne HS in 2020!

MENTAL WELLNESS CHALLENGE
Do a daily, weekly, or monthly mental wellness challenge by writing, drawing or sharing with someone one way that you took care of your mental and socio-emotional health today and everyday!
POWER OF POSITIVITY
1. Write a positive quote of your own or one that inspires you.
2. Add a picture of something that reflects this quote, whether it be a drawing, photo, or digital image.
3. Post it up somewhere so you (and others) can see it to promote positivity (e.g. on your wall, refrigerator, mirror…) and share it with me so I can post it.
4. Read and/or make this positive statement every day for the upcoming week, three times a day (e.g. when you wake up, during the day, and at night).
